Wake up to a view of the gulf of Papagayo.  Our resort is located in Playa Hermosa on the north western Pacific coast. Playa Hermosa translates to "beautiful beach' and that's exactly what you'll discover, crystal clear calm waters splashing upon this pristine beach and brilliant colored sunsets that color the horizon. This all inclusive resort sits on a hillside overlooking the sun drenched gulf of Papagayo. You'll have many moments to take in this wonderful view of Costa Rica's western coast.

After breakfast, our driver will be awaiting to take us on a drive to Ortega, Santa Cruz where we will adventure and go on a River Safari on the Tempisque River.

Joining a family owned tour company in Ortega village, part of one of the 5 Blue Zones of the World (Peninsula of Nicoya), we will experience an authentic “Blue Zone” lifestyle experience. Our River Safari will be along the Tempisque River, Palo Verde National Park & Cipanci Wildlife Refuge. Often times we will see wildlife such as white-faced monkeys, crocodiles, macaw, and others.

For lunch we will enjoy healthy dishes with locally cultivated ingredients from their small farm, with a unique opportunity to taste dishes using inherited recipes from their grandmothers.
