Day one​

Arrival

  • Xin chào! - Airport Pickup from Hanoi (HAN)

  • Check-in anytime, arrive before 4pm

Upon your arrival to Hanoi Airport, your private driver and guide will be in front of the airport and holding a sign "MeWannaGo". You and your luggage will be escorted to our air-conditioned bus .  You will be transported to the hotel in the heart of Hanoi! You can spend the evening enjoying some shopping, eating street food, or just roaming around and taking in the culture.

 

But rest up, because the next 10 days will be a whirlwind of incredible sights, unexpected adventures, and moutwatering native food.

And so begins your 10 day adventure in the unforgettable Vietnam!

Day Two

Hanoi, Ninh Bin, Night train to Lao

  • Breakfast (included)

  • Trang An Unesco Heritage Site (where they filled Skull Island (2016))

After breakfast at the hotel, our tour guide will pick us up from our hotel as we set off to the Ninh Binh province. The first destination in this trip is visit Hoa Lu ancient capital, the first capital of Vietnam. Here we will learn about why the capital was moved to Hanoi. We'll witness the outstanding architecture when entering temples of King Dinh and King Le, the first and second emperors of ancient Vietnam, built in the 17 century.

 

We will continue on with the tour with cycling around the village to discover the
life of local people. This will be followed by a buffet Lunch served with local cuisine. Vegetarian food is always available if that's your preference.

 

After lunch, we will visit Trang An which was recognized by UNESCO as one of The world Heritage Site in 2014. Trang An has the wonderful tunnel cave system that was chosen by Kong’s Movie Group to be featured in the New Version of Kong in 2016 – “ Skull Island “. During the boat trip to visit Trang An you'll be able to see the amazing beauty of this landscape with many caves such as : Sang Cave (Light Cave), Toi Cave (Dack cave), Nau Ruou Cave (Cooking Wine).  These sights will all be viewed as we boat down a green river surrounded by jungles and mountains.

 

We head to Mua Cave ( Dancing Cave) and walk up almost 500 steps to reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain and discover an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc.

After this long first day of adventure, we head back to our hotel in Hanoi. Here we'll have free time to explore the city and find a perfect dinner spot!

After dinner, we will be picked up and taken to the Hanoi trian station, where we will board for an overnight train experience to Lao Cai.

Day Three

Lao Cai, Sapa, Lao Chai, Ta Van, Sapa

  • Pick up from Lao Cai station

  • Muong Hoa Stream

  • Black Hmong village of Lao Chai

  • Hoang Lien Son Mountain

  • Trek to Ta Van village

In the morning, we will be picked up from Lao Cai station and driven to the hotel in Sapa.
This is when we will check into our hotel in the famous Sapa, land of green rice patty landscapes! After breakfast at the hotel, we will set off on a trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain.


Lunch will be served at local restaurant.  After lunch, we will continue the trek to Ta Van village then return to Sapa town by van. In the afternoon, we will have time to explore the town of Sapa. We'll find a cute dinner spot and head back to our hotel right in beautiful Sapa.

Day Four

Sapa, Cat Cat, Night Train to Hanoi

  • Train Station departure from Lao Cai to Hanoi

We will start our morning with breakfast at our hotel. This will be followed by a short walk to the gate of Cat Cat village, which is the home of Black H’mong ethnic people located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. The local guide will show us the daily life activities of the locals. We will trek down to the bottom of the valley to the
waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station. We'll have a chance to stop for photos with the bridge and waterfall and then we will walk up hill to find our private bus waiting for us to take us back to Sapa for Lunch.


We'll have some free time before we leave Sapa and head back to Lao Cai station. If the weather permits, we have the option of taking a cable car to visit Fansipan Peak (excluded).


After dinner, we will head back by train to Hanoi.

Day Five

Hanoi, Halong Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay

We'll have an early pickup from Hanoi Station and we will head to breakfast. After breakfast, we will leave Hanoi for our adventures in Halong Bay. As we arrive at the port for our cruise, we will wait for our cruise captain to check everyone in and prepare for boarding.
 

Once we all board, we will enjoy a welcome drink and get a briefing about safety on the boat and activities included followed by checking into our cabin! A delicious Vietnamese set menu will be served for lunch while we leisurely cruise further into Bai Tu Long Bay.
Upon arriving in the kayaking area otherwise known as Cap La Island, we will have free time to enjoy kayaking through the karst and breathtaking nature, swimming and
relaxing.


As the sun sets, we will all get back to the boat and enjoy our Sunset party during our cruise as we sail to the overnight anchorage. Dinner will be served on board followed by free time on our cruise rto challenge ourselves in Vietnamese puzzle games, or
gather as a group for a board game; or try our luck with squid
fishing or simply have a cocktail and enjoy the quiet night on the bay.

Day Six

Bai Tu Long Bay, Thien Canh Son Cave
Fly to Danang

We will start our early morning at sunrise with the option of practicing Tai-chi on the sundeck or just catching a morning view of the stunning bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee.  Breakfast will be served in Western style. After breakfast we will venture off to explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son Cave.


Upon return to the boat wou will have about 30 minutes to freshen
up and finish packing. We'll attend a Vietnamese cooking demonstration. We'll learn how to prepare a simple but delicious Vietnamese dish that Gordon Ramsey (a 2
Michelin Star Chef) used to guide – Nem Cuon or challenge ourselves in
fruit and vegetable carving.


Following a traditional Vietnamese lunch served on the boat, we will head back to the harbor and disembark at Ha Long cruise port for our return to Hanoi.
After some free time, we will be picked up by our private bus as we set off to Noi Bai airport for our flight to Danang.


Upon arrival, we will be picked up from the Danang airport and taken to our hotel right in Danang where we will check in.


We'll find a local dinner spot and rest for the evening.

Day Seven

Danang, Cam Thanh Coconut Village
My Son Sactuary, Hoi An

Our morning will start with breakfast at the hotel.  The local guide will pick us up from the hotel lobby as we head off to Cam Thanh fishing village. Along the way we will meet
local fishermen and experience the daily life of a fisherman in Danang.  We will take a bamboo basket boat on the Cam Thanh water coconut forest and have a brief introduction to the history there.  We will join the local fishermen on the river and enjoy the hands-on experience of round net and cast net fishing. We'll learn to paddle the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat and join in a basket boat race.


We will also have time to explore the now peaceful coconut waterways of a past war.
We'll even go catch the crabs and then return to the fisherman's house for a welcome drink.  Here we will enjoy Lunch.


After lunch we will continue on our way to Hoi An city and depart to My Son Sanctuary - The World Cultural Heritage. Here we'll have 2 hours to discover the site by walking throughout the landscape, learning histories with our local English-speaking guide, and enjoying the Champa's traditional performances.
 

Following we will head to the wharf for our boat trip to Hoi An enjoying a nice and cool breeze onboard, with a beautiful sunset river scenery on the biggest river in Vietnam Central named Thu Bon River. This is where we will want to have our camera sready for amazing moments as we witness local people's activities along the river.
 

Upon our arrrival at Hoi An, we will be dropped off at our hotel with free time to explore Hoi An town at night where we will find a local dinner spot.

Day Eight

Hoi An, Ba Na Hills, Fly to Saigon

Good morning! Breakfast bright and early in our hotel. Our private driver and a tour guide will pick us up at our hotel lobby as we head to the famous Ba Na Hills for our Cable Car excursion. This is the most modern Cable Car in Southeast Asia. We will visit
Dream Stream Cable Car Station and have the opportunity to enjoy the breath-taking view of the DaNang coastal city.


After finishing the first cable car, we will visit The Golden Bridge which
has the most exotic structure and also the world’s most prominent
pedestrian bridges highlighted by the British Guard newspaper, Le Jardin
D’amourn (consists of 9 gardens), Linh Ung pagoda.


We will sit on the 2nd Cable Car to visit the French Village where we can enjoy
Street Music, watch Art’s statue, Campanile, Nine Floor Goddess Shrine,
Tombstone Temple, Watch Carnival Performance Show, Square Du Dome
And if you are daring, you can there is the most popular adventure ride – Slide of Tube Car (free ride). This ride is free but not for the faint of heart!


We'll have a buffet lunch at a restaurant and take the Lava Train from Sun Kingdom to many new attractions such as Helios waterfall, Time Gate, and The Moon Kingdom. We will reach Fantasy Park by walking in Fairy Forest, discovering Dinosaur Park,
playing 5D wild west, enjoying 4D death race ride, watching 3D mega 360
degrees, riding on journey into the underground, entering Jurassic Park,
challenging Freefall Tower and participating in an adventure in Horror
House and over 90 free games.


We will meet at the Cable Car and prepare for our departure from Ba Na Hills. Our drop off will be at the Danang airport so we can catch our flight to Ho Chi Minh.
Upon our arrival, our private driver will pick us up from Ho Chi Minh airport and take us to the hotel where we will check in and have dinner at a local restaurant.

Day Nine

Saigon, Cu Chi Tunnels, Saigon

Today will start with breakfast at our hotel in Ho Chi Minh. We'll take a morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification Palace which was built on the sight of the former Norodom Palace. The Independence Palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. We will have the opportunity to continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. This will be followed by a visit to the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum. This museum has a vast display of both the Indochina wars.


Lunch will be together at a local restaurant.  Once ready, we will depart for Cu Chi tunnel (this trip will take approximately one and a half hours in our private bus) Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, there will be a short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, we can spend our time and explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which includes the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like
storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping
whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are
also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like
tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, we'll be served special tea and
cassava (guerilla’s food during the war).  For those interested in shooting a gun, you have the option to do it here!  The rest of us will use this as break time.


Our return to Ho Chi Minh will be in the early evening as we are dropped off at our hotel for dinner on our own.
 

Day Ten

Farewell

After having your breakfast, you’ll check-out your Hotel and prepare for departure. Your transportation will be ready to drive you back to Ho Chi Minh Airport for your departure.
