About this Trip

New Year's Eve in the jungles of Bali. Imagine ending 2026 surrounded by lush tropical jungle on the Island of the Gods, far from the usual crowds and ordinary celebrations. As evening settles over Bali, we'll come together for a special New Year's Eve dinner, raise a glass to everything we're leaving behind, and welcome 2027 surrounded by nature, new friendships, and the magic of one of the most extraordinary places in the world.

This private 9-day Bali adventure was created especially for women to come solo and experience something extraordinary together. We'll explore emerald rice terraces, sacred temples, volcanic landscapes and spectacular ocean cliffs; journey by fast boat to breathtaking Nusa Penida; and immerse ourselves in the traditions, flavors and spirit of Bali.

We'll dress in traditional Balinese attire and learn Balinese dance during a professional photoshoot, raft through the jungle along the Ayung River, ride ATVs through the countryside, soar above the landscape on Bali's famous swings, learn to prepare authentic Balinese cuisine, experience the Kecak Fire Dance overlooking the ocean, and so much more.

And there couldn't be a more meaningful place to begin a new year. After welcoming 2027 together, we'll visit sacred waters and take part in a traditional Melukat purification ceremony beneath a Balinese waterfall—a centuries-old ritual centered around cleansing, renewal, balance and welcoming positive energy into the journey ahead.

There is a reason it's known as the Island of the Gods. From the moment you arrive, you can feel the island's unique energy, beauty, and deep connection to culture and spirituality.

I chose Bali for our New Year's journey because it offers so much more than beautiful scenery. It's a place that invites you to slow down, be present, embrace adventure, and start the year with intention. Whether we're exploring sacred temples, learning Balinese traditions, rafting through the jungle, or standing atop dramatic coastal cliffs overlooking turquoise waters, every experience has been thoughtfully chosen to showcase the very best of this extraordinary island.

What makes this trip especially meaningful is the opportunity to welcome a new year together in the heart of Bali's lush jungle landscape. Surrounded by nature, immersed in a culture that celebrates gratitude and balance, and sharing the experience with an incredible group of women, I truly can't think of a more magical way to begin a new chapter.

Airport Transfers – Pick up from and drop off at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) in Bali. Please arrive any time after 2pm - 5pm local time. If you are continuing on to the Gilli Islands, please review the Add-on departure instructions. If you are leaving at the end of this trip, please depart DPS airport any time after noon.
Transportation – All transportation throughout the trip is included in a private vehicle with a dedicated driver and English-speaking guide.

Upon arrival, we'll be greeted at the airport and transferred to our hotel, where you'll have time to settle in and take in your first impressions of this extraordinary island. This evening, we'll gather for our Welcome Dinner, sharing our first meal together as we begin an unforgettable New Year's adventure filled with culture, connection, breathtaking scenery, and unforgettable experiences.

Today we immerse ourselves in the culture and beauty that make Bali so special.

Our morning begins at the stunning Tegalalang Rice Terraces, where vibrant green fields cascade across the hillsides in one of Bali's most iconic landscapes. These terraces reflect centuries of Balinese farming traditions and showcase the island's deep connection to nature.

We'll continue to the Sacred Monkey Forest, home to ancient temple grounds and hundreds of playful long-tailed macaques living among towering trees and lush jungle surroundings.

After lunch, we'll step into one of Bali's most cherished cultural traditions. Dressed in traditional Balinese attire and makeup, we'll learn the graceful movements of Balinese dance while gaining insight into the stories and symbolism behind this important art form. Professional photographs will capture this unique experience, creating memories you'll treasure long after the journey ends.

We'll wrap up the day with a delicious Indonesian dinner before returning to the hotel for a relaxing evening. Take some time to unwind, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and reflect on an unforgettable day filled with culture, tradition, and beautiful memories.

Our final day of the year invites us to slow down and appreciate some of Ubud's most beautiful and peaceful surroundings.

We'll begin at Saraswati Temple, known for its elegant lotus ponds and traditional Balinese architecture. From there, we'll enjoy the scenic Campuhan Ridge Walk, one of Ubud's most picturesque walking trails, offering beautiful views of the surrounding hills and tropical landscape.

Lunch will be served at the enchanting Taman Dedari, a unique destination known for its impressive sculptures, gardens, and tranquil atmosphere.

The afternoon is yours to relax and enjoy at your own pace before we come together for a special New Year's Eve dinner. There is something truly magical about welcoming a new year surrounded by beautiful scenery, meaningful experiences, and an incredible group of women. Tonight, we celebrate not only the year ahead, but the memories already being made.

The first day of the new year begins with some of Bali's most iconic experiences.

We'll start with the famous Bali Swing, where you'll have the opportunity to enjoy spectacular views over the surrounding landscape while capturing incredible photos. (You have the option of renting a flying dress and photographer.)

Next, we'll travel to Kintamani, where breathtaking views of Mount Batur and Lake Batur await. This scenic region offers one of the island's most impressive panoramas and provides a glimpse into Bali's volcanic landscape.

After lunch, we'll visit a local coffee plantation before continuing to Tirta Empul, one of Bali's most sacred temples. For generations, Balinese Hindus have come here to honor the holy spring waters that remain central to the island's spiritual traditions.

We'll also have time to explore the lively Ubud Market and historic Ubud Palace before making our way to the coast and checking into our next hotel.

Later, we'll visit Griya Taman Beji Waterfall for a traditional purification experience known as Melukat. This important Balinese ritual has been practiced for generations and is intended to promote spiritual cleansing, renewal, and balance.

Set against the backdrop of a beautiful waterfall and natural surroundings, this experience is often considered one of the most meaningful cultural encounters visitors can have while in Bali.

After lunch, we'll travel to Uluwatu Temple, one of Bali's most revered sea temples. Perched dramatically atop limestone cliffs overlooking the Indian Ocean, the temple offers some of the island's most spectacular coastal views.

As the sun begins to set, we'll experience the famous Kecak and Fire Dance performance. Set against the backdrop of the ocean, this captivating cultural performance combines music, storytelling, and tradition in a way that is uniquely Balinese.

Nusa Penida Island Adventure

After lunch, we'll continue to Crystal Bay, known for its beautiful coastal scenery and turquoise waters.

This evening, we'll gather for our Farewell Dinner and celebrate an incredible New Year's journey together. From sacred temples and cultural traditions to jungle adventures and stunning island landscapes, Bali has offered us an unforgettable start to the year.
